how to prevent a covered hopper from derailing

Hello to day i an going to show you how to 

prevent a covered hopper from derailing.

I am going to yous a Walthers hopper. 

First remove the shell.   If you are not done 

making your hopper you can skip this step.

Then remove the whate.

Ok so i cut the waits into smuler scwers.

and plays 6 per bay.

I lade 3 skineer wates on top.

and tapet them to the car .

Ok now it has a lower garviti senator!!!!!

EMD GP35

The EMD GP35  was realist July of 1963 and stop being produst January 1966.

1251 of this locomotive were built for American railroads and 26 were built for Canadian railroads.

16-celender engine which generated 2,500 horsepower  

CN but 2 GP35 road number 4000 and 4001

CP  but 24 Gp35 road number 5002 to 5013 and 5014 to 5025

Santa Fe but 160 road number 1300 to 1460

Souther Pacific but 160 GP35 road number 6520 to 6679

I weird the LED to 2 toggle switches.

i only installed Red and Green but real Signal Bridge have Red Green and Yellow.  The structure  is made of copper wire solder  together   (glue wood look better).

The car comes as a kit but takes 5 minute to assemble

It coms with these Couplers:(
But is easy to change the Knuckle Couplers.

                                                   it will du 15 radius!!!!

  It is quite heavy and will not derail easily.

The car is quite sensitive to derailing on damage track.

It has a minimum radius of 15''but i wood recommend 18 radius.

It comes as a kit bot take 5 minutes to assemble.

I bought the car for  $16,90

it can do a 360 degree on its self.

all the hydraulics work well and stay in place.

the hinges work really well


it cost about $25

it is very well detailed with

detailed cab interior.

fine print decals.
and a bunch of more cool detail!

it is made mostly in metal 

tho some parts are plastic.

Diesel for locomotive fuelling.

The tube is made of 4 Scotch tape plastic interiors glued 

together. The railing brass tubes are melted in the big plastic 

tube.

The trailers are made of wood and brass rods.

Chairs are really hard to build.
Any caboose should work for this
as long as it is empty on the interior.

It took me almost a day to build.

Athearn 50ft piggyback car

Hello 

Today I am reviewing the 50ft piggyback from Athearn                                      It rolls very well. 
          It comes with knuckle coupler
         and metal wheels.
            It fits on 15 radius and up.
       



You can remove the piggyback 
holder and turn it into a flat car. 














It comes with two 25ft trailers that you can remove but they don't have hooks and 
the wheels don't move very well at all. :(

NRE Genset locomotive

I just came back from the
hobby shop where i found
this super awesome NRE
genset locomotive
for 110$
It runs really nice
 lots of detail and is
a tone of fun.
There is a a BNSF
and UNION PACIFIC
theme.

It has some flywheels.

it olso has vary nice cab roof details: 

horns, air conditioners, GPS,

NMRA 8-pin plug for DCC

The locomotive has 12 metal grabiorns.
