home made tranformer

i made this transformer from  Styrene 

and the fans are locomotives brake cooling fan.

i painted it all black and weathered it.

its now on a 200 ton flatcar 

there are weights at the bottom to prevent it from tipping 

quarry!!!!!!

all the gravel is just ballast.

BLMA Trinity 64' Modern Reefers HO

The walk way is metal and so are all the grab iron:)

the car is approximately 26sm long and 4sm wide.

but its vary long so has a tendency to derail:(

model train stuff sells it for $22.99 

all the anther cars i bought that looked this good where $45.00 

the doors are not woking but they are REALLY detailed!!!

they can do 18 radius but its really tight and it dos not look vary good :(

over all I love this car :)

how to prevent a covered hopper from derailing

Hello to day i an going to show you how to 

prevent a covered hopper from derailing.

I am going to yous a Walthers hopper. 

First remove the shell.   If you are not done 

making your hopper you can skip this step.

Then remove the whate.

now it look like this so ya.

Ok so i cut the waits into smuler scwers.

and plays 6 per bay.

I lade 3 skineer wates on top.

and tapet them to the car .

Ok now it has a lower garviti senator!!!!!

I weird the LED to 2 toggle switches.

i only installed Red and Green but real Signal Bridge have Red Green and Yellow.  The structure  is made of copper wire solder  together   (glue wood look better).
